About Us
We have a mission to tell the story of Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire through a variety of means.
We host regular events and we are always looking for volunteers to help us with our mission.
What We Do
Whilst we are not yet a physical museum, there are many different ways in which we can tell the story of Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire and our people.

We hold a programme of regular monthly talks. These are predominantly on local history, but we also cover more general topics to cater to all tastes.
We attend local history exhibitions hosted by others, such as local authorities. We also host our own events and work with other local history organisations.
We publish books and leaflets on local history and help others to do so. You can find details on this in our shop section.
We publish regular content on our social media channels and on our website. We are always keen to hear your stories, so please get in touch.

We always welcome volunteers to help us. As a reward you will get free entry to all of our events.
Whether you have skills that can help us run the committee of our organisation, or you want to help put out the chairs or staff the doors, there are always jobs that need to be done.

We have a full programme of talks and presentations that runs on a seasonal basis from January to December.
The majority of our events are about local history, but we scatter in some general history to keep things fresh and varied.
Our events are generally priced at £5, but there are also supporter and season ticket options.
We have two options to reduce the cost of attending our events and yet still support us.
- Season Ticket: £35 will get you access to all of our events, equating to a saving of 40%.
- Supporter: For £18 you get access to one event, and all remaining events are half price (a 21% saving)

Do you have something you would like to donate to a museum of the area? Do you know of a collection or item that is at risk of being lost? If the answer to either of these questions is yes, we are very keen to hear from you.
Alternatively, if you have premises that could be used to temporarily house exhibits we would be very pleased to hear from you.
