Tickets are now on sale for our inaugural fundraiser event, celebrating Sunbeam’s first land speed world record on 17th May 1922. Come and join us in Wolverhampton, birth place of the machine that conquered the world a century ago.
Tickets can be purchased on the door if still available, but to guarantee attendance, please use the Eventbrite link below to secure them in advance.
How Do I Get There?
The event is held at Penn United Reformed Church, 333 Penn Road, Wolverhampton, WV4 5QF
The venue has free parking, but space is somewhat limited and thus car sharing is extremely helpful if at all possible. The venue is served by a regular bus route, the number 16 to/from Stourbridge and is on the A449, which runs from Newport, Wales, through to Stafford.
The event is going to be held in the function room at the front of the premises, which can be seen in the image below (although there won’t be an accompanying crowd dressed in c. 1960 clothing!)
Refreshments/Facilities
Tea, coffee and cake will all be available for a small donation fee and we will also be holding a raffle to raise further funding.
Toilet facilities are available and the venue is wheelchair accessible/located on the ground floor.
We look forward to seeing you all on the night!
